YunoJuno Freelance Designer of the Year
December 2021

I was one of eight designers who made it through to the final voting. People who I had worked with over the past 13+ years left me likes, social media comments and private messages. It made me reflect on my career and feel really proud of everything I have achieved so far. 


Tide: Senior Product Designer
January 2023 - August 2023

I was hired by Tide to work as the Senior Product Designer in their Finical Services team. I responsible for the launch of Tide’s first Card Reader product, allowing businesses to take in person payments from customers. I was responsible for the continued development of 
Tide Payment Links product and their first Interest Savings account offering.


Bloom & Wild: Senior Product Designer
August 2021 - October 2021

I worked on transitioning the current Bloom & Wild website structure to a new brand that they had acquired called Bloomon. This involved solving unique commerce problems based on products sold.


Seatfrog: Senior Product Designer
June 2021 - July 2021

I was hired by Seatfrog to assist in a complete app refresh and design system update (moving to Figma). My work involved evolving their existing design language and establishing a new core brand through evolved UI Design. I created various new design patterns and components and delivered features across both iOS and Android devices.


The Economist: Senior Product Designer
January 2021 - May 2021

I was hired by The Economist to concept and design the user experience for all audio content within their app. This included features such as an audio queue which allowed users to create, edit and delete tracks for a personalised experience. Parts of my process included several rounds of user testing, running user workshops, competitor research, user flows, wire-framing and final UI Design. The designs have been received well by users and are now an integral part of The Economist’s editorial experience.


Bó (Banking App for Natwest): Senior Product Designer
January 2019 - November 2020

I was tasked by Natwest to help create a brand new challenger bank called Bó. Working in an agile environment I created features such as Check-in Streaks, Savings Pots and Search. I also created and maintained Bó’s Pattern Library. My process included creating user stories, sketching, user flows, wire-framing, user testing and final UI design. This allowed Natwest to become one of the first traditional banks to develop its own mobile based bank with the latest cutting edge technology.


BT: Senior Product Designer
September 2018 - January 2019

I created a BT Business consumer mobile/desktop app. It allows you to make and receive calls on your mobile using your landline number.


Bauer Media: Senior Product Designer
June 2018 - July 2018

I was asked back to re-design websites for both Empire and Grazia magazine. I created the Wireframes, components, style guides and high fidelity designs, each site taking a month from conception to completion.


The Telegraph: Senior UX/UI Product Designer
December 2017 - June 2018

I branded and designed the Telegraph’s new Financial Solutions online packages, alongside working/leading on the development of their Travel Section. This included the design of new product pages, destination pages and a new payment process for booking both hotels and flights. This included in-depth UX research into The Telegraph’s travel partners Booking.com and Expedia.com, working closely to complete the integration process between them.


Hostmaker: Senior UX/UI Designer
October 2017 - December 2017

I was tasked with creating the UX/UI design for the payment journey of purchasing a property directly from Hostmaker’s website. They have recently partnered with Marriott Hotels and needed a quick turn around to create a payment flow and landing page for the new part of their business. I also created new designs for the main site and addressed daily UX and UI issues.


Firefly Digital: Senior UX/UI Designer
August 2017 - September 2017

Creating app concepts for a new client. Plus UX/UI design for the new UNIV University College Oxford website.


The Telegraph: Senior UX/UI Designer
June 2017 - August 2017

I was hired to redesign The Telegraph website. This included UX research, grid research and UX/UI modular design.

Firefly Digital: Senior UI Designer

I have worked for Firefly Digital on several occasions over the last 5 years. I create branding and websites for various clients such as Taggstar, Anna Casa Interiors and Daisy Chain. 


Veepio: Senior UI Designer
Oct 2016 - Jan 2017

I worked at Veepio for 4 months on a number of UX/UI and branding projects. This included the company's own app and the NFL team, Philadelphia Eagles. I also re-branded Barwis Methods, a high profile gym franchise in America and designed two different internal programmes for them which are in the process of being built now.  


Bauer Media: Senior UI Designer
Sep 2015 - Oct 2016

I worked at Bauer Media for 1 year as a Senior UI Designer. Whilst there I re-designed websites for Heat, Grazia and Closer. I also designed the UK's first commercial radio station on Apple TV for Absolute Radio. I led the app design for Kiss FM and a log-in system that runs across all 120 of Bauer Media’s brands in order to capture user data and sync their network. One of the biggest projects I worked on was to integrate all 75 of Bauer Media's radio station brands onto one platform called Planet Radio, releasing this year. 


Thirty Three: Senior Digital/UI Designer

M&C Saatchi: Senior Digital/UI Designer
Jul and Sep 2015

After my employment in 2012, I was invited back to M&C Saatchi to work on digital and print campaigns for Innasol. 


The App Business: Senior UI Designer

At TAB, I worked on the Homebase account, creating both Desktop, Mobile and App design for their current website. I worked from the early UX stages and wire framing through to prototyping ideas and finished design.


Forever Beta: Digital/UI Designer
Jan 2014 - Jan 2015

I worked for Forever Beta for over a year. During this time I re-branded the agency and designed the new website. I also worked on ATL projects for Get Taxi and Rocket Fuel and several projects for Google, in both print and digital. I designed three apps, which are now available on the App Store.


Table19: Integrated Designer
Dec 2012 - Dec 2013

I was at Table19 for 1 year, working across brands such as Sky, William Hill, Truphone and delivering online content for BlackBerry and Carphone Warehouse.


BD Network: Integrated Designer

I have worked for BD Network on a number of occasions. I set up the Spring-Summer Global Toolkit for the Peugeot showrooms. Later that year I returned for the Autumn-Winter update of the same Campaign. Also whilst at BD Network. I worked on Virgin, Nintendo, Ocado and Cineworld.


Sapient Nitro: Integrated Designer

I worked across the Sky account and Vodafone on several different occasions.

I worked on Dyson, Panasonic, Cif and Tassimo. 


Saatchi & Saatchi: Integrated Designer
2012

At Saatchi & Saatchi I was the lead designer on the HTC Global Retail account. The role involved taking briefs at a conceptual stage, designing and art directing them through to finished artwork. This was on both online and offline projects as well as crossing over into ATL press campaigns. Also I worked on their prestigious list of Diageo clients, such as Baileys and Smirnoff and developed their augmented reality conceptual work for Tesco.


Lida/M&C Saatchi: Middleweight Designer
2010-2012

Whilst at Lida I worked across their vast client list on a number of challenging design projects. I regularly worked on clients such as O2, Google, Boots, Mini, Ikea, Porsche, Network Rail, iShares and Change4Life. I was also given the task of re-branding M&C Saatchi’s PR department. I became an integral part of the design team working on several award-winning projects and successfully winning and retaining clients such as TfL and Google. In 2011 I had an essential role in winning O2 for Lida, which was the largest new business DM account win of 2011 for any agency. As a result, Lida became “Marketing Magazines DM agency of the year” and managed to achieve several prestigious awards in Campaign magazine including “Mini On Your Mind” on which I was the lead designer.


Claydon Heeley: Junior - Middleweight Designer
2007-2010

During my time at Claydon Heeley, I was promoted from Junior Designer to Middleweight within a year of joining. Our client list included Three Mobile, Royal Mail, Post Office, COI, Selftrade, ING, De Vere Golf and NCP. I creatively led a successful pitch for NCP as well as working on several other successful pitches, most notably Sainsbury’s Finance. One of my greater achievements at Claydon Heeley was the re-brand of Selftrade, which I was once again given the chance to lead creatively. Through my continued development I moved into digital design, working on projects for Royal Mail, Post Office and web design for De Vere Golf. I was also Brand Guardian of Three Mobile Direct and responsible for the continued development of the Three brand.
